WINNING SPIRIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2009

We know what it means to dream---to take an idea or aspiration and nurture it into something big, something excellent, something world-class. But transforming dreams into realities requires resources such as these provided by the Charlie Joiner Winning Spirit Scholarship Program.

The Charlie Joiner Winning Spirit Scholarship Program is a collaborative effort involving Skill Centers of America and our Community Partners. At Skill Centers of America, we strive to open a world or opportunities for students who dream of something more.

At Skill Centers of America, we are proud of your accomplishments---but we want to do more. That is why we are inviting eligible students to apply for the Charlie Joiner Winning Spirit Scholarship Program.

For the 2009-2010 Academic year in effort to help students excel in their academic pursuits, we have twenty-five (25) $1,000.00 scholarships available to eligible students.

Who is eligible? If you are a graduating senior in high school and have at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) you may be eligible. To apply for the Charlie Joiner Winning Spirit Scholarship Program funds, contact the Program Coordinator, Etta Sunday at 619-286-6001 or via e-mail at esunday@skillcenters.org to learn more about their eligibility requirements and to request an application packet. You may also apply on-line at www.joinergolf.org. Application deadline is May 8, 2009.
